We reserve the right to review all documents prior to accepting a project for editing. Occasionally, a document is too poorly written in English to be able to edit it properly, and the original document in Spanish or Portuguese will be requested for translation. We cannot edit machine-translated documents (e.g., Google Translate).
Documents re-submitted to us for editing after changes or additions have been made will usually require the re-editing of the entire document. Often, the rest of the document needs to be adjusted to fit with the changes or additions, and frequently changes in other areas of the document have been made by the authors.
We guarantee editorial acceptance into medical journals. If a document is rejected for publication based on language problems, we will re-edit the document at no charge until it is accepted. While we will make suggestions to the authors regarding content improvements, we cannot accept responsibility for papers rejected for scientific content or results.
Documents must be provided in Word, Excel, or Powerpoint format. We can also accept PDF documents but there may be an additional charge for preparing the document for translation.
Our process always includes a revision by a second medical translator to ensure a perfect result. If errors or ambiguity are found, we will gladly review the document and make adjustments at no charge.
Writing projects can be completed in US or UK English, as specified by the client. Typographical errors are extremely rare, but if found they will be fixed at no charge within 24 hours.
